- How far in advance should I order?
- As much notice as you can give. Tiered cakes need six to eight weeks, and popular weekends go earlier than that. If your date is close, ask anyway — sometimes there is room.
- How much does a custom cake cost?
- Cakes start at $150. The final number depends on size, finish and how much hand-painting or sugar work is involved. There is a full breakdown on the pricing page.
- Do you deliver?
- Most cakes are collected in Toronto. Delivery can sometimes be arranged for larger or tiered cakes — ask when you get in touch.
- Can you match a photo I have seen?
- I can work from a photo as inspiration, but I will not copy another decorator’s design outright. Send it over and I will suggest something in the same spirit.
- Do you make cakes for allergies?
- Tell me what you need to avoid and I will be honest about whether I can do it safely. The kitchen is not free of nuts, dairy, gluten or eggs, so severe allergies are usually not something I can guarantee around.
- How should I store the cake?
- Keep it cool and out of direct sun, and bring it to room temperature before serving. If it has been in the fridge, let it come round slowly and do not unwrap it while it is cold.
